We weren't the first to put in the seven-inch mattress Place, but we believe we've done it right, with another creation Kingsdown mattress with more amps to inform an excellent story. It's a really different product, one that has a perceived value together with the customer. I just hope that we do not begin seeing poor quality seven-inch mattresses inserted in cheap box eyeglasses -- it should not turn into a commodity product the way conventional sleepers have. Since Flexsteel is positioned above most of the other quantity furniture manufacturers, the mattress is a fantastic vehicle for individuals in sleepers. It's a real value for the consumer -- it is certainly not a gimmick."

"for the manufacturer of skinnier innerspring mattress Sleepers at promotional price points, the seven-inch mattress if ine, but our Sealy Posturepedic innerspring is superior to the seven-inch mattresses on the market now. People want to sleep on a firm surface, not air, which is what the thicker mattresses are. Ours has 35 lbs fo coil and metal, whereas the next production seven inch mattresses have only 21 pounds at a mattress with no border wiere.
"To get a promotional manufacturer, the thicker mattress is Fine, but we've got a premium dual sleep line, so they are not for us. The thick mattress also places a strain on the mechanism and in certain cases requires a thicker cavity, which makes the framework look sexier. In a better sleeper, the customer needs a firm, comfortable sleeping surface and stationary couch styling. We're able to deliver both of those with our present mattress. Thickness doesn't necessarily imply quality. It is not an inferior solution, but it's not appropriate for Sealy Connecticut."
