Abstract

PyWintx is a workspace-based application to visualize meteorological data using Wintx and GAABS maps library. Wintx is built to store and process a massive number of weather data for researchers or scientists. Also, the GAABS maps library is a python library for generating geospatial map using Open Street Map. Pywintx fetches data using Wintx with user-specific parameters such as date/time range, aggregate function, area (especially, INDOT region) and variable name. After that, it parses and processes the dataset to visualize the results on the map area. An end-user will be able to play with PyWintx to see, analyze and share their results.
