Drought Impact Viewer
The drought impact viewer consists of three layers of information. One is a NASS crop data layer for a specified year. The second layer is a drought index layer from the Midwestern Regional Climate Center which is released weekly. The third layer is the county boundaries for Indiana. The NASS crop data layer represents 13 categories of crops and other land uses.Users can zoom in to a specific county by clicking on the map or check the drought impact of a past date using the calendar control to the left.
