Abstract

This is a collaborative cloud tool that facilitates generation of Physical Input-Output Tables (PIOTs) for mapping biophysical economy using mechanistic models. The tool provides feature to upload your models for various sectors in relevant format (ASPEN, Python or CSV files) and generates the table for Physical Supply Tables (PST), Physical Use Tables (PUTs) and PIOTs. Import and export data if available can be uploaded as well. The methodology details for the generation of PIOTs using mechanistic models for various sectors can be found in our upcoming journal paper by Vunnava and Singh (2020).

The current release of the tool is in testing phase. We plan to make this tool available to Industrial Ecology research community in April 2021. The users will need to register on MyGeoHub. If you will use ASPEN model an agreement about your own ASPEN license usage will need to be submitted. Additional open source modeling software support will be made available in future.
